WGOC — Rabbit Program

The Club runs a full BC Rabbits series: this program provides a fun introduction to cross-country skiing for children starting at age 3 to 14 years old.

The Club organizes eight lessons per season, which take skiers through a progression of proficiency badges; we also run a night-ski, races and fun-day, as well as other special events. If you need further information contact Hazel Wadlegger at 250 674-3998 or e-mail the Wells Gray Outdoors Club.

Rabbit Schedule 2011–12

Jan 8 1:00 - 2:00 pm Rabbit Registration at the Chalet at Candle Creek Cross Country Ski Trails.

There will be 8 lessons held every Sunday from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, followed by hot chocolate and cookies!!

Rabbit Schedule 2010–11

Jan 9-Feb 27 every Sunday—Rabbit lessons

Jan 21 Friday 5:30pm—Moonlight Ski (potluck, skiing, and a bonfire) Hazel Wadlegger is organizing this event.

Feb 27 Rabbits Wind-up Party with prizes, food, etc. (same time as lesson)
